Built by people who know how these procedures actually work.

Huurgelijk was founded by Philip van Moll (mr. drs., lawyer and economist) and is made in Rotterdam. We build software for legal procedures in Dutch tenancy law, and we apply that knowledge here to the tenant's side of the table.

Our background is our promise: for years we built legal software for the professional side of the rental market, for organisations that work with complaint procedures and tenancy law every day. That knowledge and technology now serve tenants on this site, and the free part stays free. Read why Huurgelijk for what that means in practice.

We stand on one side of the dispute. That choice is principled: you cannot credibly work for both parties in the same case. Everything on this site, from the free check to the letters, is built to give tenants the same command of the rules that professional landlords have had all along.
